Our Luxurious Escape at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort Dubai

Our adventures have taken us across the globe, but few places have left as lasting an impression as Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa in Dubai. This hotel, nestled along the pristine shores of Jumeirah Beach, offered us an unforgettable blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure. Keep reading to find out exactly why we loved our luxurious escape at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort, Dubai.

Location

Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa boasts a prime location in Dubai Marina, with direct access to the white sandy beaches of the Arabian Gulf, which we definitely took advantage of! Its proximity to the bustling Marina Walk, the vibrant JBR Walk, and major attractions like The Palm Jumeirah and the Mall of the Emirates made it an ideal base for our Dubai exploration.

Our Room

From the moment we entered our room, we were enveloped in comfort and elegance. If we would have never left this room, we would have been thrilled! Our sea-facing suite offered stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, with large windows that allowed natural light to flood the space. The room was tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and featured a king-sized bed, a spacious seating area, and a private balcony where we enjoyed our mornings watching the sunrise. Shelly loves taking baths, and this bathroom, equipped with a deep soaking tub and a separate rain shower, was a sanctuary of its own and a dream come true.

Amenities

The amenities at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa are second to none. We spent many afternoons lounging by one of the three temperature-controlled swimming pools, surrounded by lush gardens. Of course we had to take advantage of their state-of-the-art fitness center every morning. The private beach, with its crystal-clear waters and comfortable sunbeds, was a perfect place to unwind and soak up the sun.

The Spa

We loved indulging in a day of pampering at the Caracalla Spa, an experience we will never forget. The spa’s serene ambiance, coupled with its extensive menu of treatments, provided the ultimate relaxation. We opted for a couple’s massage, which was just heavenly. The skilled therapists used a combination of traditional and contemporary techniques to melt away our stress. Post-treatment, we enjoyed the Roman-themed wet spa area, complete with steam rooms, saunas, and Jacuzzis.

Dining

Dining at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa is a culinary journey around the world. Each morning, we looked forward to the lavish breakfast buffet at Brasserie 2.0, where an array of international and local dishes awaited us. For lunch, we often dined at Maya, a contemporary Mexican restaurant that offered delicious and authentic flavors. Our dinners were special affairs—whether it was the Mediterranean delights at Ossigeno or the fresh seafood at Geales, every meal was a treat. We also loved the chic atmosphere at Shades, the rooftop lounge, where we enjoyed mocktails with a stunning view of the Dubai skyline.

Activities

The resort offers a myriad of activities to keep guests entertained. We tried our hand at various water sports, including paddleboarding and jet skiing, right from the private beach. The resort’s concierge also arranged a memorable desert safari for us, where we experienced sand boarding, dune bashing, camel riding, and a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars. For a more laid-back day, we took a leisurely stroll along the Marina Walk, enjoying the lively atmosphere and vibrant street performances. And of course, you know we made good use of the beach at the resort.

Nearby Attractions

Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa’s location made it easy for us to explore some of Dubai’s top attractions. We spent a thrilling day at Aquaventure Waterpark on The Palm Jumeirah and enjoyed the stunning views from the observation deck of the Burj Khalifa. The Dubai Marina Mall, with its extensive shopping and dining options, was just a short walk away. For a cultural experience, we visited the Dubai Opera and the Alserkal Avenue arts district, which offered a glimpse into the city’s burgeoning arts scene.

Final Thoughts

Our stay at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa was nothing short of spectacular. The combination of luxurious accommodations, world-class amenities, and a prime location made it one of our favorite hotels. It was surprisingly affordable for Dubai, too. We paid about $175 a night in May. So, whether you’re looking to explore the dynamic city of Dubai or simply relax and rejuvenate, this resort offers the perfect escape. Shelly and I left with cherished memories and a strong desire to return. If you find yourself in Dubai, we wholeheartedly recommend staying at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
